Tragic Discovery: Body of 18-Year-Old Anara Recovered Near Degree College, Dinyar, Gilgit

A girl’s body was found on the river bank near Degree College, Dinyar. According to sources, the dead body has been identified as 18-year-old Anara, who hails from Yasin, Ghazar. According to sources, Anara was missing from Dinyar for the past 24 days. His missing report was lodged at the Denver Police Station on March 5, 2024.

Protests are set to be held in Karachi and Lahore on Sunday in the cases of Falak Noor and Anara. Yesterday, a protest was also held in Gilgit city, where lawyers, activists, and the public demanded justice.

Falak Noor, a 12-year-old, was allegedly abducted on January 20, 2024, from Sultanabad, Gilgit. The alleged abduction case has reportedly been with the Gilgit Police for over two months, yet not much progress has been made toward recovering the minor.

Their cell phone tracking is proving to be a challenge for the cops. They have carried out numerous raids, all in vain. A high court appeal has been launched against the second accused, freed on bond in the interim.

The speakers vehemently insisted that the youngster be brought before a judge and recovered right away. They emphasized the significance of precisely determining the child’s age through the use of legitimate medical and legal means.They also demanded extensive inquiries into the actions of the registrar, the doctor who issued the age certificate, and the Nikah reader. In order to ensure accountability, transparency was encouraged while looking into significant charges against specific police officers. Civil society organizations emphasized the child’s fragility and the need for her to heal quickly in order to shield her from additional abuse and exploitation.

The demonstrators also issued a severe warning, stating that the situation might turn into widespread public disturbance if the appropriate departments do not step in and take immediate action. They emphasized that they will not give up on their fight until the victim’s family receives clear and unmistakable justice.
