Pakistan International Airlines Expands Northern Region Flights to Boost Tourism

In an effort to encourage travel, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced more flights to the northern regions. The national airline’s spokeswoman announced that additional flights will be launched shortly to serve the northern areas. Two-way flights from Islamabad to Chitral will be part of the opera starting on May 18.

PIA has announced more flights in 2022 to encourage travelers from all over the world to see the breathtaking scenery of the northern regions. In order to prevent losing out on the chance to purchase tickets during the busiest holiday seasons, the national airline has advised visitors to do so in advance.

In anticipation of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) removing the ban in the upcoming month, PIA had already started to complete plans for the return of flying operations to Europe.

Furthermore, on April 29, PIA will begin offering direct flights from Dubai to Skardu. These flights will run every Friday from Dubai and every Sunday from Skardu. The goal of this action is to draw travelers from all over the world to Pakistan’s breathtaking northern areas.

This initiative follows PIA’s earlier attempts to expand flights to northern regions in 2022, enabling travelers to reserve tickets ahead of time and prevent missing out on the chance during the holidays.

In addition, the airline is getting ready to start flying again to Europe in anticipation of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) removing the ban the following month. Sources claim that PIA intends to establish Paris as its hub for flights throughout Europe.

The northern regions of Pakistan, which are renowned for their stunning natural beauty and extensive cultural legacy, should see an increase in tourism as a result of this extension of airline operations.
