Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has announced plan for building a motorway from Mansehra to Gilgit, Babu Sartap and Skardu.

He was speaking on Monday at the National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) Training College in Sheikhupura at the passing-out ceremony for 289 police officers.

Mr. Khan outlined the NH&MP’s intended deployment to Gwadar and Karakoram. He emphasized how crucial the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is to Pakistan’s economic growth and reaffirmed his pledge to pick officers of the highest caliber and to provide them with thorough training. He declared that the cops would receive a pay raise in addition to an extra month to finish their training.

Federal Secretary of Communications Ali Sher Mehsud, Additional IG Ali Saber Kayani, IG Salman Chaudhry, Commandant DIG Syed Hashmat Kamal, patrol officers, and their families were present at the occasion.

Speaking during the National Highways and highway Training College’s passing-out parade of patrol officers in Sheikhupura, the minister stated that he attempted to establish two or three priority as soon as he took office, with the completion of the Sukkur to Hyderabad highway being one of them.

He went on to say that the government also intended to construct a highway for the northern areas, stating that it intended to construct a motorway connecting Islamabad with Gilgit and Skardu. He declared that the construction of the freeway will alter everything for the area.

Since no one has ever reported that a Motorway Police officer solicited for a bribe, Abdul Aleem Khan claimed that those who worked for the motorway also deserved recognition. He said that no one has ever attempted to bribe an officer, saying that the Motorway Police had made the country proud. He said that it is hoped that other colleges might adopt this practice as well.
